Gangotri ji is located at the origin of river Ganga. According to the Mythology river Ganga is Gifted to the King Bagirath by Lord Shiva who Prayed for Thousands of years to Lord Shiva. After being locked by Lord Shiva to diminish its flow, River Ganga came down on earth at the Virtuous stone near the Gangotri temple. The Shrine of Gangotri opens during the last week of April or the first week of May, on the auspicious day Akshaya Tritiya. Gangotri ji is one of the most beautiful routes of the entire Char Dham Yatra. Gangotri ji is a very peaceful and a divine place feels like a paradise.
As you arrive at Haridwar / Rishikesh meet the Driver for assistance, and proceed straightaway to Harsil. Enroute visit the beautiful valley of Uttarkashi. Upon your arrival in Harsil check inn to the pre booked hotel. Enjoy the dinner & Stay Overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast depart for Gangotri ji and on entrance take a holy dip in the sacred River, The Ganges, as well knows as Bhagirathi at its source. Complete Puja after that and relax for a time in the beautiful environment. Come back to Hotel in the day to relax in the bright sunlight and some of spectacular views of the good-looking valley. After that come back to the hotel enjoy the dinner & stay overnight.
Begin early morning with breakfast and drive downhill to Rishikesh, one of the most important spiritual cities and the Yoga capital of the world. Explore the wonderful town with its charming locations. Visit fascinating temples, spiritual sites and Ghats. Have the experience of treading on the famous Ram Jhula and Laxman Jhula. Towards evening, drive towards Haridwar/ Rishikesh and drop at Haridwar Railway Station.
