The place is also known for its beautiful surroundings, glaciers and hot water springs including the Surya Kund, Gauri Kund and Saptarishi Kund. After breakfast depart for Barkot which is a beautiful town of in Uttarkashi which is situated on the bank of river Yamuna ji. Barkot is surrounded by lofty snow clad mountains, green valleys and apple orchards. On arrival Check inn to the hotel Evening free to leisure. Enjoy the dinner & Stay Overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast depart for Yamunotri ji via track from Jankichatti through lush green Valley and several species of Himalayan Shrubs. Yamunotri ji is the source of the river Yamuna, the twin sister of Varna, the Lord of Death. Yamuna is also the daughter of Surya the Sun. The actual source of the river originates from Champasar Glacier 1 km a head of the shrine, at an altitude of 4,321 mts. On arrival by afternoon in Yamunotri ji take holy dip in Yamuna River and perform Pooja, and take the same route back to Barkot, check in at Hotel / Camp. Dinner and Overnight stay at hotel in Barkot.
Begin early morning with breakfast and drive downhill to Haridwar, Upon the arrival in Haridwar Check inn to the pre booked hotel.Evening visit Mansa Devi Temple which is located a top the ‘’Bilwa Parvat’’ on the Sivalik Hills, the southernmost mountain chain of the Himalayas. Devotees who want their wishes to be fulfilled by Mansa Devi tie threads to the branches of a tree located in the temple. & In the evening for Ganga Aarti Visit the most famous ghat, Har Ki Pauri, which look breathtakingly beautiful as thousands of diyas (lamps) and marigold flowers float and illuminate the holy water. Enjoy the Dinner & Overnight stay at Haridwar.
After Morning breakfast check out from the hotel, and you are on your last lap of the Chardham Yatra journey. Drive back to Delhi. On reaching Delhi transfer to Railway Station / Airport.
